About Thompson Developments Since inception Thompson
Developments has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to
excellence, dedicated to not simply constructing a house, but to
building a Thompson Developments home. Combining innovative design,
use of local conservation craftsmen, together with meticulous
attention to detail, Thompson Developments succeeds in creating
homes which are wonderful to look at and a joy to live in. With all
construction products and materials chosen after thorough
consideration to suit both the individual house types and the local
environment, our distinguished homes not only complement, but
enhance their locations.
Our mission statement “building the future” reflects our desire to
not just provide homes which will stand the test of time, but to
provide homes which are ahead of their time. Thompson Developments
is committed to being at the forefront of innovation, from the
design of our homes to the technology incorporated into them.
Thompson Developments has been trading since 1998 and to date has
undertaken a huge variety of construction projects including multi
unit townhouse schemes, apartment developments and individually
designed country homes of distinction. Although the company has its
roots in Magheralin, Co. Armagh, we are building and developing
homes across the whole of Northern Ireland.
The Team
Mr Sam Thompson – as founder and owner of the Company Mr Thompson
has a hands on management role and is actively in control of each
development from the purchase of the site, through the planning and
design stages, monitoring of construction and eventual sale. He has
built up considerable experience in construction over the years and
has surrounded himself with a team of architects, planning
consultants and advisors of the highest calibre.
Mrs Joanne Cockcroft LLB– Joanne has been working with Sam since
2002 and manages company administration, personnel and legal
matters.
Mr John Watson ACIOB – John is a Quantity Surveyor and has worked on
many large high profile construction projects in England and the
South of Ireland. He joined the team in 2004 and manages the
construction phases of each development including the pricing of
each job, the appointment of contractors and ensuring that works are
of top quality and on schedule.
Mr Michael Monteith BSc MRICS – Michael joined the company in
2006. He is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 20 years experience
of the local commercial and residential property markets. Michael
was previously Property Finance Manager for the Northern Bank and
has an in depth knowledge of property finance and project
management.
Mr John Savage LLB - John is a recent law graduate from Trinity
College, Dublin and joined the company in 2007 as a Trainee
Surveyor. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Real Estate.
Mrs Pauline Noblet – Pauline has worked with Sam since 2001 and
manages all the day to day accounting for the company.
Mrs Laura Scott – Laura has been working for Sam since 1999 and
joined the team at Thompson Developments in 2006. She manages
reception and assists with accounts.
